Kelly Castano, DVM

Dr. Kelly Castano earned her bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Rowan University in South Jersey. She graduated from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine and went on to do a small animal rotating internship at VCA Southpaws in Fairfax, Va. Dr. Castano has worked for many years as an ER clinician at several busy emergency hospitals in multiple cities such as Chicago, Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey. In addition, she practiced for four years in a general practice clinic in northern Baltimore and has done work on the side for local shelters and animal rescues.

Dr. Castano stays busy outside of work with her three kids, dog, cats, and chickens. She prefers hiking and reading in her time off. Eventually, she hopes to get back into traveling again when the time is right.
